Hey! Do you plan to release any patches for this game? I'm getting artifacting when moving on controller: I keep getting stopped repeatedly for no reason.

I have been a fan of yours for many years now ever since i was 14, always loved your stuff was active in discord communities such as Mint Leaf Production and whatnot and here's a story & some questions afterwards for you to have some eye candy for
so back when I was 14 I was meh at games so I had cheated through the later parts of Helltaker and now I decided today to fully complete the game so I got (Gatetaker, Sintaker, Puzzletaker and Battletaker all in one night!) and soon I'll be 100%ing hard mode for Awaria soon I'm mostly there just the few last levels are really hard and fun haha) onwards to the questions !
1. will you continue making games (I'll assume yes but I would appreciate answers)
2. will you continue creating comics? perhaps you can even make a collab comic between Helltaker, Awaria, and maybe even Daystone it would pay a nice homage to the fans who've been here for a while or even some of the new ones too !
3. would you ever consider making a visual novel? i would love to play a visual novel of yours since you make such dynamic chars (my favorite helltaker characters are malina, justice and judgement!) i doubt you would make a visual novel since you enjoy creating unique games not to say that some visual novels aren't unique but you do something entirely different you make a sort of frankenstein of multiple genres and make it work out in harmony. if you ever get to reading this message thank you a lot and if you want to contact me message me on discord: xeriyonz or here is fine! my email is also fine but just dm me for my email!
Saw the OST release on Mittsies channel, immediately put on top of my to-play list. Fantastic game! How do you even describe this genre, bullet-hell rhythm puzzle?
It felt very hard, even on normal. You can't tell half the time what's even going on on the screen, you kinda have to tune out all distractions and focus on dodging green & running patterns between machines... But the story made it all worth it, lol.
Also, the vibes. You don't even have to start the game, it just oozes with style from the main menu alone. Excellent animations, banging soundtrack (but then again, it's Mittsies, what else would you expect?), tons of self-referencing artistic themes. And the girls, yeah. though it's a bit disappointing they don't feel as memorable as the ones in Helltaker.
I think I had a weird issue with dashing? Like, if you spam spacebar, sometimes the girl dashes once, pauses for a few frames, then dashes again, and other times the girl dashes twice without pausing.
Great aesthetic, great gameplay, slight issue on Windows; I didn't like the controls & tried to modify them, but trying to modify the control for "select" made it so I couldn't select anything, even in the game.
As a result, I am unable to pass Level 3.
Would recommend mouse support to be added, at least on menu screens, so outcomes like this can be avoided.
Are you sure that you have interacted with the generator while holding the correct item? That level has two items, a 'briefcase' and a 'charged briefcase'. One device dispenses the briefcase and the other charges it. The first repair requires a 'charged briefcase' but subsequent repairs may either require a charged or uncharged one (randomly). Perhaps you tried repairing with a charged one when an uncharged one was required? Took a while until I realized that.
I have a bug at the third level of the game, the station doesnt want to pick up the blue thingie that it asks me to give to, I basically cannot progress thru the game its a softlock
it seems other people can just go further to this point but idk how, any help?

Very hard game, at least on the second part, died very much, and I'm not the kind to tone down the difficulty, which led to even more death and suffering

Apparently, my computer thinks this is a virus and won't let me download it. From what I hear, this is a widespread problem that is affecting itch.io. Any alternate download links?
This is a widespread windows problem. The executable isn't signed so windows refuse to accept it as legit. Problem is, the kind of certificate needed to sign the game are quite expensive and this is a free game.
The steam version might not have the issue if steam bypass the windows is it legit check. I would not look for a link outside of itch.io and steam. Everything else is much more likely to be a real virus.
There should be an option to ignorr the virus warning and download anyway
Other than needing to add the executable permission (“chmod +x Awaria.x86_64”), seems to work on Linux as far as I can tell. Thanks for the native Linux support!

For me it works on Mac (MBP M4). What mac device are you using? Also disable sandbox before running the game.

I am never doing this game in hard made only standard, it is like being swarmed by angry wasps and getting trapped in a corner is a death sentence.

The movement with xbox 360 controller on windows 64bit doesn't do diagonals well.

Maybe its my mac, but the game for Mac is not opening.When clicking it says "The application “Awaria” can’t be opened."
No idea if that helps but I hope it does.
running "chmod -R 755 filepathtogame" and "xattr -cr filepathtogame" on the terminal allowed me to open the game
